The Gender Summit in Europe will in 2015 be held in Berlin, Germany. The theme is "Mastering gender in research performance, contexts, and outcomes"
It starts the 6th of November 2015 and Nina Almgren, Tatiana Arrigoni and Eva Lübke from the FESTA project will be speaking at the conference.

The observations on gender equality of this report aim to investigate the Swedish Research Council’s evaluation process from a gender equality perspective and to identify particular points where improvements can be made.

The sister project of FESTA, GENIS LAB, will end with December 31st, 2014. During the four ambitious project years the project partners got a lot of results. These results will be presented at the final conference in Dresden, Germany the 12th of December, 2014.
The aim of GENIS LAB is to promote organizational change in six European research centres.

The Garcia project began in early 2014. The present material gives a collected overview of the gender profile of the scientific personnel at the Faculty of Science, University of Southern Denmark based on the years 2010, 2011 and 2012. In two instances, data from 2013 have also been included. Academic excellence seems to be a universal and gender neutral standard that is the base of the principle of meritocracy in science. However previous studies have already exposed this principle as myth and see in it a central mechanism how gender inequality is reproduced in academia.
